At Sunnyfields, your cat is guaranteed peace and tranquillity as our cat chalets are set in substantial gardens.

A big part of our daily routine is to stroke, cuddle and generally fuss over your cat.

This is what makes our job worthwhile, as we see cats enjoying their stay with us and establish a bond with them.

Under new ownership, the cattery is a fully licensed, family run business.  Although we, Julie and Chris, are new to running a cattery, we have many years’ experience of owning and breeding cats. We are a family of cat lovers and currently have 7 pet cats of our own.

We treat your cat as if he or she were our pet whilst in our care: our philosophy is that we would offer the  same high level of service and comfort we would expect for our own cats.

As well as meeting their basic needs of feeding and cleaning, our priority is your cat’s welfare and happiness.

Sunnyfields Cattery is strictly for cats, with no dogs allowed on the premises.

Thank you for taking such good care of Suki ☺ It's good to find someone who really understands cats. ☺ Kind Regards Carrie ☺

I would not take Skye to any other Cattery. Julie and Chris love cats, which I feel is really important and they are always happy to see Skye. The pens are clean and secure and Skye loves the heated bed! Skye is a fussy eater but her fussy needs are fully catered for at Sunnyfields. She gets regular strokes and attention from Julie and Chris and I am convinced she actually enjoys her time at Sunnyfields

Our elderly cat Smartie has been taking holidays at Sunnyfields for many years. Smartie is nearly 20 and as in many cats of his age suffers from kidney disease. Whilst we were away on holiday Smartie became quite poorly. Julie acted quickly in seeking vetinary attention and looking after Smartie really well. It was touch and go at times and Julie kept us well informed on his progress. Two weeks after returning from our holiday with lots of cuddles and TLC, he has now been discharged from the vets. We would like to thank Julie and her husband very much for all they did. We would recommend a stay at Sunnyfields for any treasured cat.

Chewy is not the easiest cat to deal with, out of his own environment, however, he seems to have now settled with Chris & Julie, which is down to their kindness & patience towards him. It is evident they have both worked very hard over the Summer to get the Cattery how they want it, and it is a credit to them. They seem to make plenty of time to deal with you as you arrive for drop off or pick up. I was a worried Cat- Mother when I heard that the cattery where Chewy has gone for seven years was to be taken over, but I need not have worried whatsoever, Chris & Julie are a genuine cat loving couple, who keep the cattery in a very good, clean & organised manner.
