What do I need to bring in with my cat?
You will need to bring:
- your cat’s up to date vaccination certificate
- a blanket/ bed or anything that smells of home (to help settle your cat)
- any special toys
- treats/ snacks (if your cat has these)
- any prescription food or medication
What is included in the price?
Included in the daily price, we will do our utmost to make sure your cat will receive the same brand of food as you provide at home. Each cat will have a heatpad in its cosy bed, which is kept on constantly unless outside temperatures become unacceptably warm for the cat’s comfort. An assortment of litter trays dependant upon your cats needs (e.g. lidded/ extra large), usually with paper litter unless otherwise requested. The litter trays are checked regularly throughout the day and the litter is changed daily as a minimum. As our logo states, all cats are given individual attention to make sure that they are as relaxed and comfortable as possible whilst in our care. Blankets for bedding can also be provided but we often find that cats are more comforted if they have a blanket from home to give them the comforts and scents that they are familiar with.
Which brands of food do you stock?
Royal Canin, IAMS, Hills Sience Plan, James Wellbeloved, Whiskas, Go Cat, Purina One.
Whiskas, Felix, Sheba, Gourmet Gold/ Perle, Hi Life
Most brands are stocked in many varieties, including kitten, older cat, senstitive, light etc.
We will also purchase our specific brand if not already stocked. We also stock cat treats and will give these to your cat as requested. Cat food/ treats and other essentials are avilable in our small shop.
If your cat is on a Prescribed diet, you will need to bring this with you.
Do you have your own cats?
Yes. We have one outdoor cat, Izzy and six Pedigree Ragdoll cats (Marley, Smudge, Misti, Pebbles, Levi and Cookie) who live in the house. If you want to know more about our cats, take a look at “our cats” section.
Is my cat insured while in you care?
Yes, we have full Pet Plan insurance to cover your cat for the duration of its stay with us.
Can we visit before booking?
We encourage you to visit and take a look around our facilitites, giving you an opportunity to ask any questions you might have.
How can I pay?
We prefer people to pay as they drop their cat off, and we accept cash and all major debit cards. We also accept all major credit cards, subject to a 2% fee.
Will my cat appear on Facebook?
If you would like us to take photographs/ videos of your cat during its stay, and to post these on Facebook, or email you, we would be happy oblige: just let us know when you drop your cat off.
Will my cat be groomed during it’s stay?
This depends compeltely on your cat and your preferences: we will gladly try to brush your cat if you bring their brush and your cat doesn’t find it stressful.
